WAGISA’s annual Washington GIS Conference is a 3-day event attended by over 300 professionals and students in the geospatial industry. The conference hosts workshops, presentations, demonstrations, and networking activities.

For two years and running, True Wind Collaborative has served as the coordinator for the conference, including overall management, registration support, event management, marketing support, and overseeing planning meetings. We facilitate bi-weekly planning meetings to bring together subcommittees and task leads, working closely with the Board Liaison to develop event plan details such as contact lists, timelines, logistical information, and budget. Each year, we provide a written report detailing the process and recommendations for future conferences.
