Cory Archer
PRINCIPAL & FOUNDER
Cory Archer has a broad range of experience working on the “people” side of natural resource issues, though she has also dabbled in the technical side during her early days in ocean sciences. She provides expertise in strategic planning, facilitation, engagement/outreach, and communications processes for complex environmental issues. Much of her work has focused on marine and coastal issues, forest management, outdoor recreation, and conservation.
Cory is particularly adept at facilitating large, multi-party groups through decision-making processes and finding consensus for complex issues, especially when the people at the table bring diverse perspectives and interests. She enjoys working with clients to identify ambitious yet achievable goals, then designing and working a process to help people journey and arrive at their charted destination.
It was her passion for being a good steward of our natural spaces that drove Cory to found True Wind Collaborative with the mission of focusing solely on projects that are in the best interest of our natural environment and the people who are closely tied to our lands and waters. Outside of work, you can almost always count on finding Cory on the water – she lives aboard a sailboat where she marvels daily at the beauty our oceans offer.
